# Carcosian Film Night

> Carcosian Film Night is a Belgian, itinerant short film festival spread across the year (February to November), dedicated to occult, cosmic (Lovecraftian) and folk horror genres. Founded in 2023, it hosts screenings in various venues across Belgium, starting at Cinéma Galeries in Brussels.

The festival selects demanding short films, visually and narratively, dark, intense and often experimental, screened exclusively on the big screen (no streaming). Selected filmmakers join the "Carcosian Family" and have their film screened during the year of their selection.
